Senior Marketing Manager (Technology / Financial Services industry)

Perm position £60,000 + bonus
New and pivotal role in the EMEA marketing team, taking responsibility for driving a set of compelling marketing programmes for our Financial Messaging business in Europe and Singapore.
Leading a small team, this role needs an experienced and energetic marketing strategist with a proven ability to identify and exploit opportunities that drive results. Our continued reorientation towards digital programmes, compelling and relevant content and customer experience, means we are looking for a candidate with innovation and creativity and who is at the forefront of modern lead generation techniques in a B2B environment. In parallel this role requires exceptional written and verbal communication skills in order to leverage knowledge from around the business regarding our products and services and turn this into successful revenue generating campaigns.
The Senior Marketing Manager will need to be able to:
* Lead a structured go-to-market approach for all marketing campaigns and new product launches targeted at both existing customer and prospects.
* Forge close working relationships with the Sales, Product and Product Marketing functions in order to identify business opportunities marketing can help to exploit.
* Comfortably collaborate with Product and Product marketing to identify drivers, define messaging and segment markets and audiences accurately.
* Take ownership of a holistic plan of suitable and cost effective campaigns to ensure we deliver against timelines needed to meet wider business goals. Input and agreement from other stakeholders will be key to success.
* Apply industry knowledge and proven experience of all areas of the marketing mix to ensure we deliver the best engagement levels possible to the right target audience for all campaigns.
This role will require the following skills and experience:
* 6+ years of professional marketing experience - 3+ years’ experience in a technology or financial environment is desired.
* Leadership and mentoring
* Educated to degree level or equivalent with a professional marketing qualification is preferable
* Results orientated and can demonstrate a proven track record of demand generation management across all channels and touch points, digital and traditional
* Intuitive, Proactive, Collaborative, Leader, Driver, Creative thinker, Innovative, Analytical, Versatile, and "Thrives Under Pressure" are words that describe you
* An excellent listener with the ability to communicate and present comfortably at all levels
* Ability to manage multiple projects with varying priorities, on time and on budget.
* Experience in working closely with a sales organisation with a strong affinity for sales success.
* Previous solution / product marketing experience with be an advantage
* Be comfortable in challenging constructively to achieve positive change both within the marketing team and across the business.
* Highly numerate and articulate
* Excellent written and spoken English.
* Must be experienced with salesforce.com or at least a similar CRM
* Must have experience with lead automation systems such as Marketo or Eloqua
* Ability to work in Microsoft Office packages - Word / Excel
* French language skills would be an advantage but not essential.
