· Apply instructional design theories and practice to design and develop innovative e-learning courses in a structured and well written format.
· To develop and produce high quality technology-enhanced learning resources (e.g. interactive resources, summative and formative quizzes , digital narratives, screen-capture tutorials, etc.), for use within the virl learning environment Totara to support classroom and blended learning courses.

The purpose of this roles is to deliver excellent technical support with outstanding customer service, satisfaction, and timeliness to company standards. The positions will have frequent contact with customers (end users) and peers.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
· Experience of providing 1st contact technical problem analysis and resolution of client issues with the aid of available Service Desk tools (e.g. Remote Support, FAQs, Troubleshooting Guides, and Knowledge base articles). Log actions taken and resolution.
· Knowledge of supporting Microsoft Office Products 2007 and 2010.
· Knowledge of Windows XP, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, Active Directory/Group Policy, LAN/WAN/WiFi/VPN
· Excellent telephone and interpersonal communication skills.

Supporting 2,000 staff dispersed across the UK plus a small number of overseas staff your main duties will include:
· Answering telephone to take 1st line support calls.
· Responding to emails from staff, and managing incidents.
· Logging of incident records of initial symptoms and incident management through to completion.
· Provide initial diagnosis of symptoms and provide support for products unique to the location or business group within a specific location.
· Logging of any action taken to resolve incidents.
· Use available technology to resolve issues including telephone, remote control, knowledge base etc.
· Escalate calls where necessary to the appropriate internal or external team.
· Participate in Service Desk performance reviews.
· Follow defined staffing schedule.
· Work to defined Service Level Agreements.

In return the client is offering a base salary of £18,000 - £20,000 (pro rate) depending on experience.
