My client is a major player in its field and is a technology led Online business who run 90% of their business through their large Portal. They are going through their next stage of growth. The company is already using Agile techniques but they really want to push this out now to the latest cutting edge DevOps environment.
As a result of this, they are now looking for an Automation Test Leader who has commercial experience of Testing Software solutions within an Agile environment (i.e. Scrum, XP, DSDM etc). You will be a passionate Tester, specifically from a Java environment, but you may also have experience of using Ruby as a supporting language for writing tests using frameworks like RSpec, Watir, WebDriver and Selenium.
Full training can also be given on Agile to get you up to speed.
Experience of Testing within an Agile Framework is key here, and any experience of Continuous Integration/Delivery would be an advantage. You will love working in a team and the buzz that goes with a fast paced technology led business.
Any experience of Testing a layered SOA Architecture and RESTful services would be good, as would be UI Testing. Any JBoss, SQL would be good also.
We are looking for Automation specialists who can write web based automation using tools such as Selenium, Ruby/Java/ RSpec/Cucumber etc.
Team Lead experience is needed as you will be building a brand new Automation team of 3-4 and leading them through the day to day work.
