An opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT Manager to join a stable and growing niche business in Leeds. The company has experienced strong growth in recent years and has a culture that values customer service above everything else.
The primary responsibility of the role is to ensure delivery of a high quality and robust IT service to the business. This means the successful candidate MUST have previous experience of heading up an IT function that serves 400-500 users whilst handling budgets between £1-3m.
ESSENTIAL requirements:
Leadership - demonstrable experience of traditional IT management
[1st/ 2nd Service Desk, DBA, Infrastructure, Hardware Projects, Suppliers]
Service Improvement/ Management - must have managed team of 12+
Supplier management and contract negotiation
Infrastructure project delivery - delivered new hardware on time, to budget
Strategy - demonstrable ability to evaluate technology and its use to a business
Persona - enthusiastic, engaging, diplomatic, honest, diligent
Business relationship management - excellent stakeholder engagement skills
