Business Analyst (Data Models/Analysis/BI) - Contract (3 Months Initially) - Bradford (West Yorkshire)
The role purpose is to gather user requirements for various projects that affect the Business Intelligence team. The objectives are to deliver MI and BI into Data Warehouse.
Principle Accountabilities:
· Production of Business Requirements documentation including Requirements Catalogues and Solutions documentation.
· User requirements gathering via stakeholder interviews and workshops
· Production of Logical Designs, Mappings & Data Modelling for large Data Warehouse programme
· Analysis of Core systems.
· Relationship building with key business areas
· Extensive collaboration with Business SME's, IT teams, 3rd Party Suppliers & Management
Essential Skills/Experience:
· Business / Systems Analysis experience in large BI / IT department
· Excellent Communication skills
· Excellent Business & IT relationship skills
· Good understanding of Data Models and Use Cases
· Proactive approach to delivery
· Experience of Data Analysis
· Experience of working with Business Intelligence Systems
· Experience of data mappings
· Core IT Knowledge and an understanding of how systems link together
· Knowledge of how data flows in large organisations
· High attention to detail· Experience of process improvements throughout large organisations
· Ability to effectively interact and requirements gather with end users

· Work with all users that have MI/BI requirements, understanding their data needs.

· Work with the BI development team to scope and deliver requirements
· Work with internal/external partners to support the development process
