Internal Account Manager - Manchester - £21,500 + commission (OTE £30,000)
Due to continued growth, an Internal Account Manager is required for a growing and successful FTSE listed professional services firm based in Central Manchester.
The role will see the successful candidate responsible for generating, sustaining and maximising new and existing business opportunities through generating leads, referrals and cold calling. The role offers excellent career opportunities and earning potential for patient, tenacious and resilient individuals.
The role is office based and involves extensive outbound calling, so applicants must be comfortable with this environment.
Responsibilities:
- Generating new business via cold calling and referrals from a number of sources.
- Maintaining renewal income and identifying new business opportunities within existing customers.
- Conducting both specific and general awareness campaigns to promote the companies services and solutions within target markets.
- Making appointments for the external sales team.
- Providing detailed correspondence for customers.
- Hitting monthly sales and call targets.
- Maintain accurate business forecasts weekly and monthly.
Experience & Skills
- B2B outbound telesales experience
- Confident and articulate phone manner
- Previous experience of selling complex IT solutions or services.
Candidates with no previous sales experience will not be considered for this role.
