An opportunity has arisen for a Configuration Analyst to work for a well-respected company based in Northamptonshire.
You will be responsible for maintaining the configurations management system (LANDesk), including the configurations management database.
You will also take ownership for preparing, testing and deployment for rollout of all company assets.
Essential skills:
·Strong understanding of End Client Management Suites (LANDesk) or other comparable systems.
·Strong technical ability for End Client Provisioning, image create.
·Virtual Desktop and Virtual Application experience.
·Strong understanding of Windows Operating Systems, Active Directory, Windows Server, Exchange Server, ISA Server, SQL Server, TCPIP networking (especially DHCP, DNS, WINS).
·ITIL understanding
·Excellent desktop skills
·Understanding of maintaining a large end client estate (5000+ devices).
·Energy and drive with a desire to learn and develop.
Key responsibilities:
·Manage and control all inputs and outputs from the configurations management systems and database to include version management.
·Manage and monitor the systems on a daily basis using enterprise device management tools.
·Design, management and configuration for new or existing Active Directory Group Policies.
·Advises Lead Configuration, technical and business teams on configurations managements best practice.
·Controlled, timely deployment of software packages, patches, security fixes, upgrades and virus protection in line with agreed practices.
Salary up to £40,000 + benefits depending on experience.
