My client based in Bedfordshire has released an instant requirment for a Sharepoint Developer to join their team for a 4 week contract.
The role has become available due to our clients PMO function looking to improve their process, tools and techniques.
As a part of this, a Project Management Information Hub / Portal needs to be developed as a shared resource to improve consistency, project governance and reporting. Features will include (but not be limited to):
* Reporting Module
* Project Workflow Module
* Risk & Issue Tracking Module
* Project Documentation Module
· A high-level design has been produced for this project and the hire/budget has been approved.To be considered for this position you must have:
· Strong SharePoint 2010 development experience
· Integration experience predominantly with MS Office, Project and SQL Server for future BI potential
· Experience in local government/public sector.
· Full life-cycle development experience - taking a high-level design through to development, testing and release ensuring documentation is to a high standard.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to engage with stakeholders across the business.
· Project Management background/certification would be a bonus however not essential (Prince 2 etc.)
Start Date - Ideally 4th February.
