My client is looking for Senior Systems Engineer. The successful Senior Systems Engineer will be charged with managing the Core infrastructure, including responding to and diagnosing, researching and resolving technical problems, as well as proactively maintaining the platforms. You will be involved with planning for and responding to service outages and other problems, as well as BAU duties.
As a Senior Systems Engineer you will be expected to support and give guidance to technical team members. Having strong experience in Web Systems Engineering (IIS), SCOM and (VMware) Virtualisation and (SAN)storage will be highly beneficial.
Required:
Web Systems Engineering (Microsoft IIS)
SCOMSANVMware ESX 3 & vSphere 4
Microsoft Active Directory (Multi-domain)
Proven experience of general infrastructure in medium / large scale enterprise environments
Windows 2003 R2 / 2008 R2
Microsoft SQL Server 2005
Scripting (PowerShell or VBScript)
Microsoft ADS, XML scripting language
