VB.Net / ASP.Net Developer

An exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer has arisen within a dynamic IT department. You will be joining a team of technical professionals who have a real passion for technology. You will have a thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle and the role and responsibilities of the functions within it.

Key Responsibilities:

Development and maintenance of both customer facing and back office systems, compliant with internally agreed standards.
Co-ordinating the build, release and deployment of software releases.
Investigation and triage of live production issues.
Working collaboratively with Business Analysts and other functional experts to comprehend requirements and ensure all technical aspects of the project are delivered as planned.
Providing technical support to the department and wider business.
Researching and applying software development techniques.
Estimating software delivery and effectively communicating progress and blockages.

Required technical skills and experience:

VB.Net / ASP.Net MVC
Javascript / JQuery
T-SQL
XML / XSL
Unit Testing and mocking frameworks

Desirable skills:
Dynamics CRM
Financial services industry experience
Framework design, patterns and practices
