Head of PMO/PMO Manager - £55,000 + Bonus - Birmingham
This market leading, global organisation based in central Birmingham has an urgent need for a PMO Manager to lead the project office on a large business and cultural change workstream.
You will be responsible for managing a team of 10 regionally distributed project resources in the successful delivery of IT and business change projects/programmes. This includes:
· Resource and budget management
· Implementing and enhancing project governance frameworks
· Progress reporting to the Executive
· Managing risks and interdependencies to deliver results
The ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills and experience:
· A solid career in programme/portfolio office (PMO) management
· Excellent team management skills (teams of 8+)
· Experience with BOTH business and IT change programmes
· Experience of developing and implementing a PMO framework
· Prince2 certifications
This role will be based in central Birmingham, with occasional travel to London, and so requires a candidate with flexibility.
