PMO Controls Lead - Sunbury
My client, a high profile oil & gas company, is looking for a PMO Controls Lead to join their team in Sunbury.
The role is split 50/50 between a 'PMO Partner' role and a 'Programme Controls Lead' role.
The PMO Partner role sits within the GLMS Programme Office and provides hands-on support, guidance and assurance to the one of the Programme workstreams - the 'Deployment workstream, which comprises the Deployment Workstream Lead and a number of Deployment Managers.
The Programme Controls Lead role sits within the GLMS Programme Office. The purpose of the role is to ensure that appropriate programme and project controls are maintained across the programme in accordance with standards and industry best practice, and to lead on specific controls.
Purpose of the Role:
The Global Learning Management Services (GLMS) Programme:
The current learning operations environment is fragmented and disconnected. With over 100 learning management systems across the organisation and very limited governance in place, accessing learning is confusing and time consuming for learners and line managers; it is difficult to quickly and easily implement new programmes in response to regulatory or other demand; and it is complex to report on levels of compliance across the organisation.
The GLMS programme will implement an integrated global solution that will allow all learning to be accessed and administered using a single learning management system (provided by Cornerstone on Demand) and consistent set of global processes and governance.
The implementation of the GLMS across the company will result in considerable change. This change will be wide-reaching, not only impacting Learning Operations teams globally, but also multiple other audiences including learners (185,000 employees and non-employees) and Line Managers.
