MARKET DATA ADMINISTRATOR / COMMODITIES TRADING / INVESTMENT BANKING / LONDON
My client is a leading Commodities Trading company currently recruiting for a market data and communications administrator to work in London on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day installation, configuration and maintenance of the Reuters and Bloomberg market data delivery system. The person will be accountable for the management and monitoring of Reuters and Bloomberg and also provide 2nd and 3rd-line support at the required service level.
In addition, candidates will provide support for peripheral systems such as Audio and Video conferencing and also manage comms line ordering and cancellations.
The priority in this role will be administration and maintenance of the Reuters and Bloomberg Market data platform, ensuring there is a consistently high level of service offered to the trading floor, general office and remote sites.
Experience Required
· Proven commercial experience as a market data administrator, with a proven track record in the market data industry.
· Experience of working in the financial sector (tier 1 investment bank or commodities trading environment)
· Detailed working knowledge of Bloomberg and Reuters user functionality, interoperability and market data infrastructure
· Experience with data declaration , licensing, invoice reconciliation and budget maintenance
· Experience on conication channels such as ISDN, ADSL and leased line; both from a support and order management perspective
· Good understanding of Cisco networks, LAN security, Cisco Call Manager and BT ITS trading platforms is desirable as the role will progress to cover these technologies![]()
