An opportunity has arisen for a contract Project Manager to join a professional services firm in Leeds who are about to embark upon a full enterprise wide Microsoft upgrade.
The key purpose of the project is to take all legacy Microsoft applications/ databases and upgrade them to the most modern version, thereby creating a new platform on which to mature. It is VITAL that the successful has previous experience of successfully delivering a Microsoft project of this nature, and has the stakeholder engagement skills to do so without incident.
ESSENTIAL skills/ experience:
· Proven project management experience delivering Microsoft upgrades (Windows 7/ Office 2010)
· Full project life cycle experience - project planning and mobilisation
· Exceptional stakeholder management ability and diplomacy
· Highly capable communicator - engaging, tenacious, collaborative and enthusiastic.
· Sectors - financial services, professional services, legal, accountancy, big 4.
The successful applicant will need to be available to start in February sometime ideally and be comfortable standing in front of business users and senior stakeholders on a regular basis. It would also be very desirable to have previous relationships with Microsoft to help negotiate the best contracts and applications licences.
