Senior Infrastructure Consultant - Jersey - £60-70k. A prestigious organisation which provides offshore legal and fiduciary services is looking for a Senior Technician to join their Technical Infrastructure Services team in Jersey. They are looking for technical skills in some (not necessarily all) of the following areas: HP Server Hardware, Microsoft Operating Systems, Cisco Network routers and switches, Citrix Presentation server, Backup and restore of data, Active Directory, Exchange, SAN infrastructure. While they do not require somebody with all of the technical knowledge, you will need to demonstrate a willingness to learn and to handle all areas. You will be expected to visit other locations globally as part of a global infrastructure refresh programme, as well as a number of other significant projects which are planned for 2013. You will be very technically-minded and hands-on, with the ability to design and build structures and solutions. As an organisation they take their staff development very seriously and will therefore provide and fund training where needed.
