Desktop Support Analyst (24 month Fixed Term Contract)
Job Summary:My client, a very established organisation in Milton Keynes are looking for a Desktop Support Analyst to start as soon as possible on a 3 month contract, with likely extension.
£120 p/day
Main Purpose of the Post:
To provide Deskside support services via the IT Helpdesk
To offer high quality advice and guidance, based on experience to members of staff through the IT Helpdesk working within defined service levels and targets;
To answer queries via the telephone, electronic mail from both campus-based, regional and remote users, also to advise staff in person via the drop-in desk, regarding products and services supported by IT;
To log all queries taken into the ITSM tool and as necessary use this system to escalate and progress calls with colleagues within IT;
To assist in the production of user documentation in regard to the use of hardware, software, and central services supported by IT;
To carry out evaluation of new software and hardware products as required;
To provide one-to-one training for end users relating to the core software products and services supported by IT;
To have a flexible approach to working hours
