GROUP HEAD OF E-COMMERCE/ONLINE
Our client is one of the best-known niche retailers in the UK and following the recent acquisitions now has almost 850 stores nationwide.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experiencedGroup Head of E-commerce/Online. The role will bebased at our Cardiff Head Offices.
This is a group role and will encompass the online facilities for a number of Retailers. We are looking for an E-commerceprofessional from within a retail background ideally fashion retail to drive our rapidly expanding on-line business.
Ideally you will have large company experience anda background within a large multiple environment would be ideal. We are implementing an exciting growth strategy for the coming year which has created this position.
You will be expected to be the lead contributor to the E-commerce/Online function strategy; by developing, managing and delivering a wide range of E-commerce activities and initiatives. These will be within defined strategies and policy frameworks in order to enable the company to achieve sales, profit and market share targets.
You must also be able to demonstrate excellent man-management skills.The spirit of the business engenders a challenging and stimulating culture to operate in. With considerable skills gained from your career-to-date you will be brimming with passion and enthusiasm for the impact that a strong E-commerce team can add to a retailer.
This challenging but rewarding role will allow you complete autonomy in this area and see you liaising closing with the Heads of IT and Marketing.
Relevant experience ata similarlevel is essential along with experience within a retailing background.
There are approximately 30 staff members in the E-commerce function across the group. We have 25 employees based in Cardiff and 6 based in Langholm.
The Platforms currently used are; Magento by Skywire and EWM and BT Fresca. The systems are bespoke systems but some are via BT Fresca.
