Regional HR Business Partner (South West) - c£40-45k + car

As an integral Business Partner to a successful and growing Retail business; your role as HR Business Partner is key in providing expertise on people and business challenges and offering a consultative service that drives personal and business excellence. This is an additional role to the established HR Business team, driven by the on-going success of a fairly new Business Partner model. Working ';frontline’ with the Business as both strategic and operational support to Regional Business Managers, you will balance varied and changeable demands across multiple sites in the South West of the UK.

This is a pure generalist role however your key areas of focus will be:

* Raising management capability; providing one-to-one coaching where appropriate
* Support on resourcing and talent management activity; to include succession planning and employee engagement activity
* Take ownership for people data within your designated client group; monitoring trends and reporting MI back to senior management teams
* Monitor business performance and revenue, implementing people solutions that raise productivity and profit levels
* Support the development and implementation of effective communication strategies that achieve consistency and drive high levels of employee engagement
* Develop and maintain effective working relationships at all levels, to include HR colleagues, maximising the benefits of central resources and implementing Group wide best practice within your designated region
* Maintaining a solid understanding of the Employee Relations climate; particularly relating to higher risk, complex issues
* Attend business meetings, acting as a subject matter expert on HR and providing solutions to key customer and business issues

Person Spec

* Significant experience in a similar regional HRM role with evidence of value add Business Partnering
* Ideally of Degree calibre with a relevant Human Resources qualification
* Flexible approach to travel with a ';can do’ attitude to taking on more ';hands on’ tasks when required
* Solution orientated; able to offer practical business and people solutions that show confidence and flexibility
