An opportunity has arisen for a contract Business Analyst to join a national professional services firm in Manchester who are about to embark upon a full enterprise wide Microsoft upgrade.
The key purpose of the project is to take all legacy Microsoft applications (desktop AND SQL Server, Sharepoint & Exchange) and upgrade them to the most modern versions, thereby creating a new platform on which to mature operations. It is VITAL that the successful candidate has previous business analyst experience within the professional services sector (accountancy, legal for eg) and possesses process re-engineering skills.
ESSENTIAL skills/ experience:
· Demonstrable BA experience - particularly on desktop applications projects
· Business change and process reengineering - upgrade utilisation
· Full life cycle experience - requirements gathering, full documentation, benefits realisation
· Highly capable communicator - engaging, tenacious, collaborative and enthusiastic.
· Sectors - financial services, professional services, legal, accountancy, big 4.
The successful applicant will need to be available to start in February sometime ideally and will be capable of engaging with all levels of the business up to the boardroom. The contract is for an initial 6 months and will have extension possibilities for the more technical elements.
