My client, a hospitality group based in Birmingham, have recently rolled out Business Objects v4 to over 350 people across the group. This will be an initial three month contract, looking to pay around £300 per day (Client is flexible on rate for the right candidate). They require a "Power User" with strong people skills who can help transition BO Reports Writers and Report Refreshers from BOv5 to BI4 and help them explore the new features of the toolset. ·The right candidate will be experienced in training and supporting a wide range of users, be flexible in their approach with a positive and motivating personality.· They will have the capability to train and coach business users (non IT) of varying abilities on the use of the BI4 product set. · It is essential to be able to provide support for end users for BO answering direct queries and provide guidance on how to get the best from the new toolset.· These are formerly Business Object 5 users who are migrating to BI4· To be the first point of contact for all user queries· Ability to work on their own initiative and plan work accordinglyEssential Skills will come in: · BI4 Web Intelligence report writing and fixing· Use of BI4 CMC console · Ability to design and amend universes· Ability to configure, setup and maintain distributions· Knowledge of Dashboard (Xcelsus) and LiveOffice to aid with the prototyping of their use![]()
