Content Migration Co-Ordinator - Canary Wharf
My client, a high profile oil & gas company, is looking for a Content Migration Co-Ordinator to join their team in Canary Wharf.
We are looking for Content Migration Co-ordinators to build out sites on a new web platform.
The bulk of the work will involve loading content into Adobe CQ 5.5, our new Content Management System (CMS). You will receive CMS training but will need to get up to speed very quickly to cope with the increasing complexity of the tasks expected of you.
At the low end of complexity you will be working on pages that have been 'scraped' from existing site and auto-migrated to the new site. You will have to assure the quality of the content against existing site and fix all errors. At the higher end, you will be recreating pages from scratch in CQ.
Tasks include:
· Cropping images, assigning metadata to assets and uploading to CMS
· Reviewing the auto-migrated content: updating links, fixing / recreating tables, assigning assets (images, videos, PDFs, Flash) to pages
· Recreate pages in CQ from scratch· To liaise with section owners to resolve issues / questions
· Peer review work of other Content Migration Co-ordinators· Regularly update project tools (eg Excel spread sheets) to keep track of your work
· You will be expected to own sections of the site and take responsibility for the successful delivery of those sections
The ideal candidate will possess:
· Experience of using Content Management Systems to build websites
· Attention to detail: someone who intuitively checks their own work
· An interest in digital in terms of design, technology and content
· Good initiative with the ability to resolve issues / problems and get on with the work to ensure successful delivery
· Ability to follow directions with minimal supervision
· Good communicator
The successful candidate will report into the Content migration lead.
