Harvey Nash Finance are recruiting a Regional Finance Director for a global leisure sector client. Based at a Head Office in Spain where there are over 1500 employees (including a large ex-pat community), this high profile role is ideally suited to a highly commercial / operationally focused qualified accountant (or equivalent) who is adept at working cross-functionally on an international basis and able to meet corporate objectives whilst working with each regional territory to ensure that they meet their local strategic agenda. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate exceptional analytical capability to quickly grasp the key business drivers and work in partnership with the leadership teams. Specific responsibilities will include:· Development of strategic plans at regional level whilst meeting corporate aims· Driving the annual budgeting process with regular review / reporting· Supporting and challenging regional management teams the provision of robust and timely through financial results and analysis (including P&L, cash flow and balance sheet)· Ownership of key commercial finance projects e.g. Forex management· Management of the service level framework with the SSC· M&A activity and business integration Whilst English is the business language, a good command of a second European language e.g. Spanish or French would be advantageous. Whilst specific leisure sector experience is not required, it is essential that the candidate will be highly proficient working in an international business environment that operates a matrix management structure, ideally having had previous responsibility for European operations.![]()
