Project Manager (Mobile Devices) - Contract (4 months initially) - Durham (North East)
Client is looking for a well established Project Manager with recent experience of working on mobile device projects which involves scheduling software e.g. customer agents visiting sites and customers. It is a corporate programme with high visibility and you will be dealing with many stakeholders.
You need to have extremely strong communication and motivation skills, be business focused and IT savvy, willing to work as part of a programme working for a programme manager.
Job Outline:
Responsible for the active management and the efficient delivery of capital projects.
Management of key project stakeholders, both internally and externally to the business, enabling the smooth delivery of investment.
Supporting the project management process, demonstrating application of procedures by example, through advice and mentoring of key stakeholders.
Measures of Success/Standards of Performance:
· Adheres to company standards for deliver of project products
· Ethical and professional, escalates issues when required
· Effective project leader who motivates and coordinates to achieve project goals
· Budget responsibility and financial control
· Management of risks.
Technical Competencies Required:
· Able to lead a team of professional people within the project environment with little or no support from the line manager.
· Able to manage conflict and resolve at team and project levels.
· Ability to understand and interpret complex client/customer requirements into effective business solutions.
· Knowledge of conditions of contract and the suitability of their application.
· Experience of managing projects within the commercial arena.
Ability to adhere to and employ the company project methodology.
