(Solaris 2.5.1 - Solaris 10, Zoning, Build and Tuning, HP Hardware, HP-UX, Linux Redhat, Veritas, SAN, NAS, Shell Scripting, Perl Scripting)A leading London based Enterprise is seeking a Unix / Linux / Solaris Engineer to join their growing team. Due to the growth in the business, this position has become available and are looking to take this person on as soon as possible. The skill set required for this role includes: Solaris OS 2.5.1 through to Solaris 10, Solaris 10 Zoning, Build and tuning, HP Hardware, Linux Redhat, Veritas clustering, SAN, NAS, Shell scripting or Perl Scripting. It would also be highly desirable if the successful candidate has had exposure to VMWare, EMC Clarion, Cisco, F5 Load Balancing. The successful candidate will be responsible for the understanding and translating business requirements, platform solution design and then through to solution implementation. Also, the Unix Engineer would be responsible for the management of the Unix platform, report of the status of projects, influencing all levels of management, end to end project implementations etc.
