My North Birmingham based client is looking for a Senior Storage Engineer. You will be responsible for the SAN storage environment and its strategy. The role includes driving technologies and assisting in the design of the companies SAN Enterprise Solution. There will also be a support part to this position and you will need to work closely with Problem and Change Managers to ensure incidents are resolved within SLAs.
Knowledge:
·ITIL V3 Foundation Certificate.
·Strong Storage skills across multiple devices
·A good understanding and background with Data Protector, Oracle and SQL backups potentially
·HP Storage, including EVA6/8k. MSA's, XP.
·Good Knowledge of HP Command View.
·Hitachi Storage HUS 150
·Tape Libraries
·Archiving and snap shotting
·Fabric management
·Replication and continuous access
·Other Enterprise Storage
