Technical Architect - Infrastructure
I am currently working with a consultancy organisation based in Surrey who are looking for a Technical Architect to join the on-going delivery into a major account.
The TA is charged with owning and delivering:
· Responsibility for technical aspects of solutions to include delivery of strategy briefings, architecture design sessions, proof-of-concept and contributing to bid responses
· High level design of all projects and technical implementations
· Analysis of customer business and IT challenges to design a comprehensive solution that integrates smoothly into customer’s enterprise architecture/environments.
· Development and ownership of Technology Roadmaps and a Architecture Reference Library
· Ensure innovation is balanced against Re-Use philosophy to provide innovative, cost effective and sustainable solutions.
Currently there is an array of project work which needs delivering so a broad technical background is a necessity - technologies include:
· Windows Desktop and Server environments
· Virtualisation (Server and Applications working with VMWare and Citrix)
· Firewalls
· LAN/WAN
· Telecoms
· SQL
This is a contract requirement paying a competitive day rates for an initial 3-6 month contract.
