Head of PMO
Leading global organisation requires a head of PMO to join their organisation to work with the Head of Portfolio Planning and have full accountability and responsibility for controlling the PMO and the portfolio of projects.
The role will be responsible for the governance of the project portfolio as well as resource planning, driving efficiencies, process improvement and internal stakeholder engagement.
Key Accountabilities:
* Reporting management - Design, manage and monitor programme and portfolio processes ensuring appropriate and timely manner. Identify and communicate variations to scope/cost.
* Risk and Issue Management - Chair regular review meetings. Hold responsibility for ensuring the training of all Programme and Project Managers.
* Dependency Management - Identify, log monitor and integrate dependencies in line with the dependency management process.
* Change Management - Log, Manage and communicate the change management process to peers and leadership.
* Coaching and Mentoring - of own team and ensuring best practice is disseminated within the programme and project delivery teams.
* Communication - at all levels within the organisation.
