Business Analyst - Web - Services - Product Owner - Software - Manchester

A well-established and innovative business in Central Manchester is seeking a Business Analyst to join their dynamic team.

You will be joining an organisation that has a diverse portfolio of services and who are continuously in the media reflecting their products, services and pioneering environment for their particular sector.

The successful candidate will work in an Agile environment (Kanban & Scrum) and will contribute to the development of the companies service products and delivery processes, along with their continuous improvement.

The role will see you take on the role of a product owner, breaking down the requirements of the product lifecycle and understanding the building blocks of software. You will work closely with the Development and Design teams to analyse the user interface and user experience elements to the service they provide.

Stakeholder engagement is key and the ability to deliver and relay your findings and information up to board level will be essential.

Key Requirements

· Strong analytical ability and experience with good attention to detail.

· Proven experience of business and systems analysis within an IT development environment utilising agile development principles.

· Experienced translating business requirements into deliverable web-based solutions.

· Comfortable breaking projects down into epics and user stories and feeding these requirements into our development pipeline in an appropriate way.

· Experience maintaining a product backlog.· Broad background and experience of IT technologies and systems including customer facing websites, back office, UI/UX etc.

· An understanding of Behaviour Driven Development will be beneficial.

· Demonstrable experience working in a fast paced, challenging and rapidly changing environment.

· Previous exposure to working with offshore development teams.


This exciting opportunity is offering a salary of circa £29,000 - £39,000, dependent on experience, which also includes a competitive benefits package.
