Service Design and Transition Manager - Contract (3 Months Initially) - Leeds (West Yorkshire)
Scope of the role:
· Coordination of all service activities relating to project delivery
· Ensure all projects are delivered into the live operation in a controlled and effective manner.
· Ensure all new or amended services are delivered with minimum impact to the live service operation.
· Manage a portfolio of projects, reviewing, contributing and being responsible for the relevant project documentation throughout the ISD PMO lifecycle.
· Setting and agreeing service acceptance criteria for each project
· Conducting service walk throughs to ensure that service operations are adequately prepared to support the new services.
· Work with the delivery and service teams to ensure the appropriate costs and resource estimates are available and accounted for.
· Communication of high impacting issues to team manager
· Setting and agreeing warranty exit criteria and facilitating warranty meetings after go live of new services, ensuring effective warranty and utility is being delivered.
· Ensuring that the services being delivered are fit for purpose and meet the standard service delivery model.
· Responsible for transition planning and management.
· Responsible for service design relating to the service specification and the business requirements.
· Member of the Enterprise Architecture Forum, ensuring the appropriate service resource is engaged for future projects.
· Responsible for input in to the vendor management process for creation of service schedules associated with new or amended services.
Main Accountabilities:
· Accountable for the service activities and tasks relating to project delivery.
· Communicate and record impacting issues and risks to the team Manager, and the rest of the ISD team.
· Ensure all work performed complies with standards and policies
· Suggest developments to the ISD Service that would lower costs or increase productivity.
