IT Manager - Software - Applications - Infrastructure - Security - Procedures - DR
A well-established business in Preston is looking for an experienced IT Manager to have single point of accountability for the IT function as a whole. You will be responsible for the group infrastructure and software development, manage the internal staff and external IT application’s, infrastructure and support vendors and temporary contractors.
You will have responsibility for the specification and delivery of projects to budget and timeline, whilst interfacing between the IT team and business functions and will develop a fit for purpose integrated IT function with capabilities to manage all aspects of IT development and support.
The role will see the individual operate a robust IT Project Governance structure with fit for purpose controls and procedures ensure business continuity and disaster recovery arrangements are in place, and regularly tested, as well as ensuring data security management is running effectively.
Key Experience
· Experience of integration between applications
· Third party supplier engagement & management
· Familiarity with various development disciplines;
- (VB.Net, ASP.Net, SQL, Web Services, XML, MS Project, etc.)
· Experience of working within Citrix/Thin Client Environments, (with remote Data Centre)
· SAP Business Objects or similar Management Information solution
· Mobile workforce and work flow business applications
· Telephony and dialler applications
