Contract - 1 month contract, Infrastructure Platform Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, South Yorkshire, Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) 2010/2012, MS Windows XP & Windows 7 automated deployment methods and best practice, In-depth Scripting experience (VBScript, PowerShell, Batch), Active Directory 2003/2008/2008 R2 design and best practice, Group Policy Management and creation, including Group Policy Preferences, MS Windows Server (2003, 2008, and 2008 R2) Administration, MS Office product knowledge (2003, 2007 and ideally 2010), Operating Systems Patching
Infrastructure Platform Engineer required initially on a one month contract basis.
The engineer will be responsible for a variety of infrastructure related work, including;
· Automated Desktop deployment using MDT 2010/2012
· Creation of silent application installs and scripts
· Active Directory management
· Troubleshoot Application Compatibility and remediation
· Group Policy Object creation and troubleshooting
· Creation of documented procedures
· Other duties that from time to time as required by the IT Stabilisation Team Leader
Technical Experience
· Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) 2010/2012
· MS Windows XP & Windows 7 automated deployment methods and best practice
· In-depth Scripting experience (VBScript, PowerShell, Batch)
· Active Directory 2003/2008/2008 R2 design and best practice
· Group Policy Management and creation, including Group Policy Preferences
· MS Windows Server (2003, 2008, and 2008 R2) Administration

· System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM) 2010
