Our client, a high profile Oil and Gas organisation are looking for a Grid Developer to join their team on a temporary basis to help grow and support a high performance compute grid, we are looking for a developer to join the team to develop new features and also to provide 3rd line support.
Experience of 3rd line support.
· Development skills in C# and .NET platform.
· Development skills in MS SqlServer
· Experience of Agile software development
· Knowledge of a grid computing products - one of DataSynapse, Platform or HPC Server
· Familiarity with Excel including VBA and macros.
· Messaging technologies and protocols - eg EMS, Web Services, SOAP/REST, JSON, TCP-IP, UDP
· Experience of enterprise scale caching technology such as Coherence or GemFire
· Understanding of pricing and risk of derivatives
· Development skills in C++
