Mobile Lead Developer

Acting as Subject Matter Expert for iOS and Android development.

Working closely with other development SMEs and Lead Developers for other technologies (Java, SharePoint etc.)

Have experience of delivering across the entire app life cycle -concept, design, build, deploy, test, release to app stores and support

Working directly with developers and product managers to design the architectures needed to create the tools for a mobile apps dev team

Gather requirements around functionality and translate those requirements into elegant functional solutions
Build prototypes at tech scoping stage of projects

Designing a robust framework to support the apps

Working with the front end developers to design the operating model for interface with focus on usability features

Design the operating model to allow the creation of compelling browser and device specific user interfaces and experiences

Designing a standardised platform for dev, test and live

Be aware of and include in designs, the latest industry trends in the mobile technologies

Explain technologies and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders


Essential

*Considerable experience and knowledge of mobile development

*Proven track record being part of the successful delivery of projects

*Significant, demonstrable experience of effective stakeholder management with a variety of stakeholders - both technical and non-technical

*In-depth knowledge of the project life cycle and structured project methodologies

*A flexible approach to working hours and the ability to travel.
