Based in our London office, the SEO Specialist will provide support for ongoing search engine optimisation efforts across the business. As part of the Global SEO team, the individual will be working on a variety of large-scale websites in sectors such as e-commerce and local search. The role has UK and international scope liaising with teams in the US and other potential locations.
The individual will have a thorough understanding of ethical SEO best practice as recommended by search engines. They will also have experience applying these techniques to enterprise level websites in order to drive growth in natural search traffic.
· Provide support to the SEO Manager on large-scale SEO projects
· Review analytics data and create actionable recommendations· Produce thorough keyword research reports
· Write page titles and meta descriptions
· Work with content teams on strategic initiatives to drive SEO traffic
· Produce SEO recommendations documents and work with the relevant teams to implement
· Build relationships with teams across the company and share SEO insights with them
· Create weekly/monthly reports on SEO initiatives and progressKeep up-to-date with the latest developments in search and maintain a relevant SEO skill set
· Deep understanding of ethical SEO best practice as recommended by search engines
· Experience using Google/Bing Webmaster Tools to identify actionable insights
· Practical knowledge of Adobe SiteCatalyst and Google Analytics
· Practical knowledge of keyword research tools including the Google AdWords Keyword Tool
· Understanding of server header responses and experience mapping redirects
· Copywriting skills for meta descriptions and on-page copy
· Experience measuring SEO performance on large scale websites
· Strong Excel skills (including pivot tables) and proficiency in PowerPoint
· An excellent understanding of social networks and how they relate to SEO
· Self-motivated individual with the ability to work autonomously
In addition you will posses 3-5 years working experience in a similar role and be educated to degree level / equivalent.
