Network Service Manager required for client who has outsourced network functions to a third party. This position will require experience in third party management and continuous service improvement. It will be the Service manager's responsibility to ensure the client is receiving the best possible service from its partners. You will be managing 10 Network Engineers who are provided by the third party to manage and monitor the network of a large travel company. This position requires a candidate with a technical background, minimum CCNA certificate, to oversee the delivery of network services in an operational environment. My client currently outsources their network services to a third party and require a network service manager to oversee the SLA's and delivery of these services. Management of 10 third party engineers of varying technical ability. Engineers troubleshoot and manage a large enterprise network and you must be technical enough to understand the work they are doing and be hands on if you need too. The right candidate needs a technical background and good understanding of Cisco routing and switching and firewalls. This position is not a hands on technical position but the right candidate must be technical. The position fits into the pro-active maintenance team and will oversee the service delivery of third party engineers and network maintenance.
