A UX developer is required to work as part of a fast paced online delivery team within a large publishing company.This role involves using a range of coding languages (including HTML 5, CSS 3 and Javascript/JQuery) to construct website templates, whilst working with the web development team to ensure a consistent flow of work through feedback response and cross-browser testing. Experience working with responsive layouts and mobile content is essential. An obsessive eye for detail is a must, as are excellent communication skills including strong written skills. The ideal candidate will:· Possess an advanced knowledge of web and mobile UX/UI· Deliver first-class HTML5/CSS3/JQuery front-end code across a broad array of interactive web and mobile projects· Be able to understand and work with older technologies and legacy code if required· Be able to develop and test across multiple browsers, platforms, and devices, including smartphones and tablets· Possess the ability to navigate through Photoshop documents and potentially make some minor amendmentsHave experience with:1. CSS3, CSS grids and systems such as LESS and SASS to compile style files2. Subversion or other version control system3. Standards-compliant code4. Responsive / adaptive design.5. Integrating HTML/CSS into ASP.NET environment using Visual Studio6. Work with client services, sales, and the development team, and manage time across multiple projects and tasks in a deadline-driven, team environment. 7.
