Senior Siebel Business Analyst - Siebel, CRM, OBI, SRM, 7x, 8x, OBIEE, PL/SQL, ITIL

A leading Research Organisations is currently seeking an experienced Senior Siebel Business Analyst to assist in delivering the maximum value to the business for their IT investment on the Siebel/OBI SRM application.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Requirements Gathering and Design, Gap Analysis, Process Improvement and Business Support
· Eliciting and evaluating requirements using interviews, workshops, process walkthroughs and user scenarios and documenting designs that are ';best-fit’ to Siebel functionality
· Collating, understanding and documenting Business Requirements including Functional and Non-Functional requirements and in most cases designing requirements leveraging the vanilla/out of box Siebel/CRM capability.
· Documenting designs and gap analysis in a form suitable for the Siebel/OBI development teams to efficiently work on.
· Documenting end to end business processes and workflows, following internal documentation standards where applicable (PID, High level requirements, business case, etc).
· Ensuring stakeholders have a shared understanding of the requirements and how they will be implemented.
· Effectively communicating with internal development and testing teams to deliver functional requirements like GUI, screen and interface designs.
· Working with the Testing team, ensuring all changes are appropriately tested and accepted by the business.
· Applying good technical skills, coupled with business intelligence, to transform customer’s needs into application and operational requirements.
· Getting approval and validation of designs from the Business Design Lead and others in the Business Design team
· Producing process, functional, reference and end user documentation.
· Troubleshooting and analysis for Production support items from end users in order to do Gap analysis.

2. Training and Change Management
· Design and development of end user training materials
· Delivering standardised training courses and bespoke training courses to the business based on the deployed functionality
· Support the Business Design team with planning and scheduling for the training courses.
· Support the Business Design team with change management activities like cutover planning, Go Live readiness activities.

3. Team Responsibilities
· Managing Business Analysts if a need arises
· Operational Business Analysis activities
· Supporting the rest of the team with planned deliverables as appropriate
· Any other duties commensurate with the general level of responsibility of the post as required by Business Analysis lead.

Other duties
· Discharge all relevant Health and Safety responsibilities and other statutory obligations
· Undertake any other tasks as requested by the Business Analysis Lead
· Work unsociable / extra hours or at remote sites, requiring the need to stay overnight

Key Skills
· Experience of working in a fast paced, high growth, dynamic customer facing environment
· Excellent track-record of working at various levels of the organisation, helping to analyse, document and propose workarounds for business problems
· Possess a combination of skills and experience in business process design; initiating & managing change & with an understanding of the software development lifecycle
· Extensive experience of Business Analysis on Siebel 7x/8x with exposure to at least one to two end to end Siebel implementation projects/programs
· Excellent understanding of the Siebel Marketing, Siebel Sales and Siebel Service modules at a functional level.
· Hands on Siebel configuration knowledge (Siebel 7x, 8x) and understands Reporting element of OBIEE.
· Good understanding of Informatica, EIM, EAI and appreciates integration (desirable but not essential)
· Ability to use PL/SQL skill sets to perform technical data analysis prior to designing the requirement (desirable)
· Experience coordinating User Acceptance Testing
· Ability to create pragmatic and workable solutions
· Working knowledge of project management.
· Relevant experience of Application Management/Support Processes and Procedures and understanding of ITIL (desirable)
