You will be a Scientific Software Engineer with exceptional skills and mindset for Algorithm Development. You should have solid numerical background with at least MSC (preferably PhD) in computer science, image analysis, mathematics, medical physics, or similar. We are looking for hands on experience in image processing and image analysis, entrepreneurial mindset, usability focused attitude.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* To work with key researchers in the field of medical imaging (musculoskeletal, cardio, brain, and oncology) and to understand their requirements and scientific challenges
* Demonstrate passion for algorithm development
* Matlab, C, or Java to develop software systems
* Working with our technical development team to integrate the latest scientific thinking into the company proprietary platform, and to deliver solutions to global client base
* Work closely with the clinical users of the system and when required present the system at scientific conferences and customer meetings
* To participate and provide progress reports on regular basis to assist in planning and monitoring of development
* To assist in other administrative tasks associated with software engineering, monitoring and control
You will be reporting to the CEO and CTO, but have the space and time to develop your own ideas as well as to work on fascinating in-house projects. Working within a professional environment, it is essential that you are professional, informative, approachable and personable.
