Infrastructure Architect
My client is a gobal Media/Publishing organisation based in central London who are going through an unprecedented level of transformation - as a result they are looking for an Infrastructure Architect to join their team.
The Infrastructure Architect has responsibility has responsibility for managing and developing infrastructure strategy, acting as design authority (TDA) across all infrastructure solutions and creating best practice across the organisation.
In order to achieve these responsibilities the Infrastructure Architect will be accountable for:
* Define an Enterprise Conceptual Architecture Model (ECAM), and Enterprise Logical Architecture Model (ELAM) and creating a roadmap to achieve the desired state.
* Definition, communication and education of Infrastructure Management in line with Enterprise Architecture policy, standards and industry best practices
* Providing support for significant infrastructure activities within large programs of work such as multi-phased projects or strategic initiatives
* Documenting and ensuring that all infrastructure designs and systems adhere to the Enterprise Architecture & divisional modelling standard and follow the appropriate level of governance
* Support and lead Infrastructure solutions in line with agree standards & approach
* Ensuring alignment between Infrastructure strategies and both immediate business need and long-term direction
Candidates should ideally have demonstrable experience of working in complex environments with a distributed architecture, broad technical knowledge at an enterprise level and implementation of enterprise scale multi-tier/platform solutions. The organisations works to an SOA model so experience of this would be useful.
On top of this experience within media or financial services organisation would be preferred but is not a pre-requisite.
Candidates in a Junior Architecture position with a strong understanding of infrastructure architecture who would be looking to take the step into a more strategic role will be considered.
This is a permanent position based in Central London and is looking to pay a salary to from £65,000 - £75,000k/annum + bonus.
