My West London based media client is looking for a Release/Software Engineer who will be able to build tools to manage the continuous integration and test suites for the News sites. It is essential to have strong PHP and Ruby scripting. It is key to have strong web experience and know how http works, understand architecture and caching.
The Release Engineer must have strong Linux experience and have Strong experience with a host of build tools including Hudson/Jenkins Subversion and GIT. The candidate will almost act as a gatekeeper for the two weekly releases, so communication and stakeholder management skills are essential.![]()
