Junior System Tester sought by leading Investment Specialist based in the city of London.
Responsibilities
· Execute test cases, logging defects by creating incident reports/logs.
· Attending defect review meetings to ensure incidents are understood and correctly classified/assigned.
· Managing defects through to closure by retesting when defects are allocated back to system test.
· Analysing test cases created by business users to create new repeatable test cases.
Role criteria
· Attention to detail and methodical approach
· Ideally at least 12 months experience in conducting system tests
· Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
· Experience with CRM, financial and accounting software packages is desirable.
Working closely with the IT development team, the role primarily involves executing manual test cases. The role is initially for a 12 month contract.
