Test Engineer - Test Analyst, Newcastle.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Test Engineer to join the leading supplier of wireless solutions in it's sector. My client is currently experience rapid growth and success and is now looking to expand its permanent team.
Reporting to the Test Release Manager / CTO, you will work as part of a small team to test new features emerging in standard products being delivered by the embedded and application teams. You will have at least 5 years testing experience testing software (both manually and Automated), Designing test scenarios and reviewing design documents.
Critical Requirements:
5 Years+ testing experience.
Good Knowledge of Software development Lifecycle models (V-Shaped, SCRUM, Rapid Application Development).
Good understanding of various test case design techniques.
Hands-on TCP/IP Network testing experience.
Linux experience to setup and perform functional testing.
Experience testing embedded products.
Experience testing of web based applications and across multi-browser / Operating Systems.
Practical and systematic approach to testing.
Excellent Report writing.
Desirable:
Experience in automation testing - open source tool (SOAP UI, Selenium, Fitness).
ISTQB Certified.
