Project Manager- Web - Services - Software -Manchester City Centre
A well-established and innovative body of the NHS in Central Manchester is seeking a project manager to join their dynamic team.
You will be joining an organisation that has a diverse portfolio of services and who are continuously in the media reflecting their products, services and pioneering environment for their particular sector.
The successful candidate will work in an Agile & Waterfall environment and will contribute to the development of the company’s service products and delivery processes, along with their continuous improvement.
The role will see you take responsibility of the live services and new projects across NICE. You will work closely with the Associate Directors, Development and Design teams to identify how the services you provide interact with end user.
Stakeholder engagement is key and the ability to deliver and relay your findings and information up to board level will be essential.
Key Requirements
* Relevant ICT project and programme management qualifications including ITIL, Prince and preferably OGC and SixSigma.
* Extensive knowledge of ICT industry standards and processes for successfully planning and managing the delivery of technology enabled (specifically web technology) systems and services.
* Extensive knowledge working with informatics and information management systems and services -preferably in an internet services context.
* Extensive knowledge in a range of ICT project management and delivery methodologies including agile and waterfall.
* Experience in the use of planning tools and applications e.g. Microsoft.
* An understanding of search and retrieval technology /processes, from source/ content optimisation through ingestion, indexing and query / results management.
* Knowledge (and training) of visual system design tools such as UML.
This exciting opportunity is offering a salary of £38,000 - £46,000, dependent on experience, which also includes a competitive benefits package.
