Job Purpose
The role is an interim position to help shape and define the newly formed Architect & Design team prior to the appointment of a permanent Manager.
Role details, Skills, Experience
* To structure and lead a team of up to 25 Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects and Solution Designers.
* To establish processes, procedures and accountabilities for the team
* To act as 'trusted advisor' and senior leader to the team and organisation.
Essential Criteria including any necessary qualifications
* Previous experience of establishing Architect & Design functions essential
* Predominant experience will be within client organisations (as opposed to consultancy)
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Likely to have held a number of Architect roles in their career to date
* Experience in the application of Enterprise Architecture (EA) frameworks (Zachman, TOGAF, etc), and their appropriate adoption by client organisations
* Deep understanding of the architecture discipline, processes, concepts and best practices
