1st Line Helpdesk Support (Business Systems) - Permanent - Leeds (West Yorkshire)
A vacancy has arisen with a client of ours for a 1st line helpdesk support person with a basic understanding of business systems. This is not a technically focused position!
You will be:
* Responsible for logging problems involving ICT systems for the Group onto the internal helpdesk system.
* Providing 1st line telephone, face to face, web and email support to users.
* Providing 1st line helpdesk support to enable users to make effective use of systems.
* Providing day-to-day support, operation and control of business systems.
* Ensuring that internal processes are followed and completed within the required timescales.
Skills/Experience/Knowledge:
* Basic understanding of business systems (financial and distribution)
* Any AS400 System 21 or Sage Line 500 experience
* Strong problem resolution and analytical skills
* Time management skills with a professional outlook
* Preferably experience working within a helpdesk environment
* Experience of all MS Office 2003/2007 (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook)
* Knowledge of Windows XP and 7
Salary : depending on experience
Holidays : 28 days (including bank holidays) accruing 1 additional day per year to a maximum of 33 days
