Java Developer

Web Java Developer sought by my City based, Tier 1 Investment Banking client for an initial 6 month contract.

This position will be working for a small team to maitain and develop bespoke Java based tools to support web accessed management software.

Developer with strong technical ability
Solid Java experience
Web application development experience essential
Knowledge of Web frameworks: Struts/Spring
Application Server experience: Tomcat and Weblogic
Knowledge of Web server configuration and operation: Apache
Working knowledge of application security
Linux / Unix command line knowledge
Preferred experience:
- LDAP Directory Server
- Web Services: hands on development experience.
