Junior Credit Risk Business Analyst sought by my City based, Tier 1 Investment Banking Client for an initial 6 month contract.... Potential for a long term, more perm opportunity.
Job description / Responsibilities:
Collects and documents business requirements in collaboration with business divisions
Participates in the creation of supporting documentation e.g. Terms of Reference
Supports obtaining sign-off of business requirements
Liaises with programme / project managers, clients, functional analysts and developers as appropriate to ensure solution design and implementation is in line with the business requirements
Supports creation of business cases outlining cost impacts and value drivers of proposed solutions
Supports the preparation of feasibility studies and estimates
Supports and co-ordinates UAT, defining testing requirements together with the QA & Testing Team as well as the clients
Performs data analysis to support tasks as required
Skill Set:
Experience in Business Analysis and Financial Services
Experience in conceptualization and solution definition
Good analytical and problem solving experience
Basic knowledge and awareness of (related) business solutions in the marketplace
Intermediate knowledge of business analysis methods and tools
Awareness of Quality Management tools and techniques
Ability to identify and interpret stakeholders needs and requirements
Ability to work in virtual teams and matrixed organizations
Ability to commit and prioritize work duties and tasks
Ability to work in fast paced environment
Excellent communication skills
Ability to share information, transfer knowledge and expertise to team members
Fluent in English (written/verbal) additional language(s) are an advantage
Knowledge in MS Office products
