Global Operations and Infrastructure (GOI) EMEA Networks Manager
£75K - £90K per annum
Global Operations and Infrastructure EMEA Networks Manager is required by my client to be responsible for the delivery and operating performance of all fixed voice, mobile voice, WIFI, wired LAN, regional WAN and AV/VC solutions throughout the organisation defined EMEA region.
The Networks Manager will be act as Budget holder and is accountable for the delivery of the above telecoms services according to the agreed demand and budget.
Key accountabilities include:
* Customer Relationship and Demand Management
* Support regional SIMs in managing the GOI relationship with customers for domain programmes & services, ensuring alignment with identified priorities & plans.
* Ensure regional short & long term requirements are understood and the development of GOI Network strategies are aligned with such regional requirements.
* Ensure GOI Network strategy & direction is communicated and understood by regional teams and customers as required.
* Ensure regionally delivered Network services with associated price points are accurately captured within GOI’s overall domain service offerings.
* Ensure the region’s ongoing Network requirements are understood and are optimally delivered in accordance with agreed service levels.
* Support the SIM’s quarterly reporting of Network consumption data in order to validate the in-year plan as represented by the customer’s client statement.
* Deliver agreed regional Network services within the scope of global contracts managed by Global Operations, networks services delivered by T-Systems, & Siemens.
* Manage regional service operations to achieve continuous improvement in both cost and quality performance in line with business imperatives.
* Manage regional Network incidents & problems. SIM escalation point for all regional Network service operational issues & incidents
* Manage global partners (T-Systems, Siemens) within the region in accordance with the global contractual frameworks & governance processes managed by Global Operations.
Regional stakeholder within the global partner governance process managed by Global Operations.
* Ensure ongoing regional Network EoSL risks are understood and form part of GOI’s EoSL investment plans.
* Prepare annual regional Network opex & investment budgets as part of the overall regional plan.
* Manage costs to plan making timely interventions as required.
* Operationalise risk management by maintaining a bottom up view of detailed risks for Networks, defining target risk positions and then executing plans to deliver to defined target risks and in doing so reduce GOI’s overall risk profile.
Desirable experience and criteria includes:
* Extensive experience in telecoms service delivery and strong experience in managing multi-million, multi-year service contracts
* Strong operational skills, bias for action, and a good understanding of all IT technologies.
* Good knowledge of the technology, processes and standards required for the delivery of Telecoms services
* Experience in working with and within large, multi-location teams
* Proven track record in the area of IT operations and Telecoms management, with an appropriate level of commercial skills.
* Ability to engage senior business representatives in an effective manner
