Project Manager - Infrastructure - Media - London. Our client a prestigious media organisations is seeking a contract project manager to deliver a short, fixed-term project to deliver tactical remedies to infrastructural and system vulnerabilities, thereby reducing operational risk and increasing resilience. As the Project Manager you together with the Head of Core Engineering, clarify the objectives and priorities that define the project and define and manage the scope solutions which will deliver those objectives. You will need to have experience of project management experience in an operational / platform environment, delivering bespoke infrastructure projects e.g. installations, migration, or business continuity). Broad technical knowledge of infrastructure/systems/application architecture incl:a. network technologies, DNS, firewall, load balancing software (ZTM)b. messaging and queueing software, installation, migrationsc. hardware installations and migrations. web services You will also need demonstrable experience of resource estimating and planning and managing budgets within projects (projects of at least 3-6 months duration, with budgets of £100-500k).
