My Market leading international Client based in central London is looking for an experienced QA Head of Testing to join them on a new green field project.The job is fast-paced, diverse, demanding and rewarding. Using Microsoft technologies, my client has developed, and maintained ~150 websites in markets including the US, UK, Europe, Asia and more. My client requires a hands-on Head of Testing who is prepared to ensure that the company has the best value QA.The individual should be fanatical about Quality and prepared to take responsibility and ownership of the testing process and practices for the company including 3rd party suppliers.They require an individual with experience of delivering quality practice and process across an organisation. You will need to justify QA to business stakeholders at all levels. You will be reporting in to the Head of Global Development and responsible for a team of QA leads in the UK and USA.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in QA/Testing Management and the following:· Test Strategy, Test Process Implementation and management· Ability to communicate and present to stakeholders at all levels · Record of Project Delivery to time and Budget The ability to communicate with management (UK and USA) and to lead teams of QA Test Engineers most based offshore (Poland and Serbia).A background in classic ASP websites would be advantageous, as well as ASP.NET. The successful candidate will enjoy the opportunity of working as part of a dynamic and lively development team.Mandatory Skills & ExperienceQualified individuals will have hands-on experience with the following skills:· 10+ years Testing/QA including; Management at multi project/programme level· Experience of leading test teams offshore.· Good communication skills with technical and non-technical colleagues· Confident in working both autonomously and as part of a team.· Technical experience of the SDLC including Agile development process, web development and MS Visual Studio, lightweight Project Management and Development Methodologies.· Familiarity with automated testing and testing tools such as WatiN, Selenium and others and scripting languages such as VBscript, etc. Preferred Skills & ExperienceIt would be beneficial if candidates were to have some or all of the following experience:· Knowledge of TDD and BDD methodologies· QA Management across Legacy and new development projects.· Release management processes.· Experience of Web Services, Message Queues and XML technologies, including XSDs and XSLT.![]()
